Well, this may not have wings, but that doesn't mean I can't try to fly it, right? This is SO much more practical than that gas-hogging SUV I've been driving forever. Yep, practical and environmentally friendly, that's why I got it . . . .

  1. That looks like a lot of fun, though isn't the read color a "ticket magnet" :-)

    1. Yeah, but that's only if they catch me! :-)

  2. Top down, running past the sound... wind blowing your hair... just like an open cockpit!!! Nice ride, Cathy!

  3. You know... a lot of folks down here use that Miata as an Autocross car...they handle great!

  4. I've heard that about the racing. Apparently they are perfectly balanced in weight so very maneuverable. I guess I'll just have to find out . . . .

You may have told me, but where is "down here?"

  5. Oh...oops!! In Northern NM.... I live 25 west of Los Alamos, NM. I base my aircraft at KLAM, Los ALamos, 7171' field EL... one way RWY, land on 27 depart on 09 ..only. On a high mesa top, VERY interesting flying. And of course, the winds prevail southerly... beautiful flying country... almost as gorgeous as your area... man... I love WA... you have the WET!!!!
I have seen those Miata's rip around the courses, with sticky shoes on... they scream! There has to be some SCCA tracks close by you.... have some fun!
