Although I love the bird concept, I also respond viscerally to the sound of a big rotary engine or the sight of Grumman Goose. <br />And I love the whole concept of getting there without having to share a crowded road with a bunch of bad drivers. Now, as a kid, ...Hmmmm.... first off, good morning! Now, as a kid, I started wondering how awesome it would be to fly like a bird, didn't we all? ;o) Then, once I was able to fly in a small plane... I was totally hooked and then I began memorizing the models and types. Then of course, I began my lessons when I could. I did a get a head start since my Dad had his first Cessna.
